Saw my first of season Eastern Tailed-Blues along the Old Farm Trail this morning while birding at SS WMA. Also seen were Spring Azure and Zebra Swallowtail.

Henry’s Elfin in Berkeley County

I found and photographed my lifer Henry’s Elfin on private property near Hedgesville, WV last week. I was there attempting to get some photos of Falcate Orangetip but they were not sitting still. This beauty showed up.
