American Lady – Berkeley county
Saw my first American Lady early this afternoon near the Middle Creek sub-division in Berkeley county. The image below is not of the butterfly today but taken in Canaan Valley last year.

West Virginia Whites
I saw several West Virginia Whites (lifer) while doing some birding in Pocahontas county on 5-10. I took some pictures with my iPhone but they really didn’t turn out so good. My regular camera was not at my disposal.
